Use these steps when your steps or activity show on your phone but do not appear in eFit, even after you sync. The most common cause is that eFit is connected to a different Google account than the one holding your activity, or your data has not reached Google Health yet.
1. Confirm which Google account has your data
Open the Google Health app and check that your recent steps and activity are there. Note the Google account you are signed in to.
2. Make sure your tracker is feeding Google Health
- Android: your tracker app must write to Android Health Connect, and Google Health must be allowed to read it. See Connect on Android With Health Connect.
- iPhone: the Google Health app must be connected to Apple Health. See Connect eFit on an iPhone.
3. Reconnect eFit to the correct account
- Log in to eFit and open Sync Tracker.
- Select Unsync Fitness Tracker (/dashboard/help/change-tracker.php).
- Open Sync Tracker again and tap Connect with Google Health (/dashboard/sync.php).
- Sign in with the exact same Google account you saw in step 1.
- Approve every permission, then finish.
Important: eFit can only read activity from the Google account you select when you connect. If you choose a different account, your activity stays on your phone but does not appear in eFit.
Still stuck?
Force a fresh sync in your tracker app, wait a few minutes, then open eFit and refresh. If the activity still does not show, submit a support ticket and tell us which phone and tracker you use.
