Use these steps when your Fitbit app shows activity but it does not appear in eFit. eFit now reads Fitbit data through Google Health, so the fix is to make sure your Fitbit data reaches Google Health and that eFit is connected to the right account.
1. Sync your Fitbit
Open the Fitbit app and let it finish syncing your device so your latest activity is recorded.
2. Send your Fitbit data to Google Health
- Android: in the Fitbit app, set up Health Connect (Today tab > devices icon > Add connections > Set up Health Connect). Then confirm Google Health can read Health Connect. Full steps: Connect on Android With Health Connect.
- iPhone: make sure Fitbit is writing to Apple Health, and that the Google Health app is connected to Apple Health. See Connect eFit on an iPhone.
3. Connect eFit to the same Google account
- Log in to eFit and open Sync Tracker.
- If you had an older connection, select Unsync Fitness Tracker (/dashboard/help/change-tracker.php).
- Tap Connect with Google Health and sign in with the Google account that now holds your Fitbit data.
- Approve every permission and finish.
Note: eFit no longer connects to the Fitbit app directly. Your Fitbit device still works, its data now travels through Google Health.
