Synced to Google Health but No New Activity in eFit

Use these steps when your activity is in the Google Health app and eFit is already connected to Google Health, but no new activity has appeared in eFit for more than 2 days.

This usually means the connection between eFit and your Google account has gone stale, or eFit is reading a different Google account than the one your activity lives in. Re-linking with the same account fixes it.

Reconnect eFit to Google Health

  1. Log out of Google Health on your phone. Open the Google Health app and sign out of the currently connected Google account.
  2. Unlink Google Health in eFit. Go to Sync Tracker and select Unsync Fitness Tracker. Direct link: /dashboard/help/change-tracker.php.
  3. Log back into Google Health on your phone. Sign in to the Google account that holds your fitness activity, and pay close attention to the exact account or username you use.
  4. Sync eFit to Google Health. Open Sync Tracker and tap Connect with Google Health. Direct link: /dashboard/sync.php. When Google asks you to sign in, use the exact same account you just used in the Google Health app, then approve every permission.

Important: eFit can only read activity from the Google account you select when you connect. If you pick a different account, your activity stays in Google Health but does not appear in eFit.

After reconnecting

Your recent activity should appear within a few hours, and daily syncing resumes automatically each night. Reconnecting does not delete any activity history already recorded in eFit.

Check Google Health's status first

If reconnecting does not help, confirm the problem is not on Google's side. Open the Google Health status page. A reported Mobile App or Web API incident means Google Health is temporarily disrupted, so eFit cannot read new activity until Google resolves it. Your recorded history and your eFit connection are not affected.

Keep your activity flowing afterwards

Reconnecting repairs the link between eFit and your Google account. Your activity still has to travel from your watch to your tracker app and into Google Health, and those handoffs happen while the apps are open. Open your tracker app with your phone nearby, then open the Google Health app, once a day. Ten seconds keeps eFit supplied with current data.

Still not working?

Wait a day for the next overnight sync. If activity still does not appear, submit a support ticket and tell us which phone you use and the Google account you connected.
