Find students who are falling behind

A student who stops earning activity credit in week three usually does not tell you until week fourteen. Three reports find them while there is still time to do something about it.

At-Risk Students

Reports > Reports Hub > At-Risk Students lists the students who are missing their activity goals or whose tracker has not synced recently. It is the fastest single answer to "who needs an email from me this week".

Consistency Report

Two students can have the same weekly step total and very different habits: one walks every day, the other does nothing for six days and takes a long hike on the seventh. The Consistency Report separates steady activity from irregular bursts, which matters because the activity grade rewards daily habit.

Data Completeness

Data Completeness catches the students whose numbers are missing for a reason that has nothing to do with effort: an incomplete profile, a tracker that was never connected, gaps in the activity record.

Telling the two problems apart

This distinction is worth making before you send anything:

What you seeLikely causeWhat to do
Low steps, data arriving every dayGenuinely inactiveEncouragement, and a reminder of how the activity grade works.
No data at all for several daysSync has stoppedCheck Tracker Sync Errors before contacting the student.
Data starts partway through the termLate tracker setupConfirm the tracker assignment dates on the course.
Send the student a note about the pattern you noticed. Do not put their activity figures or any other course record in the body of an email; point them at their eFit dashboard instead.
