A Fitness Hunt is a campus scavenger hunt. You place QR codes around your site; students scan a code at each station, complete the activity there, and move on to the next one. It works particularly well as a first-week orientation activity for a face-to-face section.
Build the hunt
- Go to Content > Hunt Setup.
- Create a new hunt and give it a name.
- Add a station for each location, with the activity students should perform there.
- Print the QR codes and put them up.
Planning the route
- Keep every station on ground students can reach without leaving campus or crossing a road they should not cross.
- Check phone signal at each spot before you commit to it. A station nobody can scan stops the whole hunt.
- Post the codes where they will survive weather and casual removal.
Watching it happen
Content > Hunt Report shows participation and completion for your hunts, including station completion statistics and the photos students submitted. It is the record to check before awarding any credit for taking part.
