The syllabus builder produces a per-section syllabus that appears on your students' dashboards. A student who has lost your paper handout can always find your office hours in eFit.
Building one
- Go to Course Setup > Create Syllabus.
- Choose the section it belongs to. Each section gets its own syllabus, in the same way each section is its own course.
- Fill in office hours, class times and location.
- Save. It appears on the dashboards of students enrolled in that section.
Why per-section matters
If you teach three sections of the same class, all three need a syllabus. They are three separate courses in eFit, and a student in section two cannot see what you attached to section one.
